WHAT HAPPENS TO OUR LOVED ONES AFTER THEY DEPART?
Human beings experience TWO deaths. We first experience a physical death, the soul leaving the physical body shifting to a non physical form. The soul then enters a transitional state. From this state your loved one can be easily reached by a Medium/Intuitive. I can hear souls most clearly in this state. How long a soul remains in the non physical form depends on a number of factors, namely who a person was when they were here, how they died, how healthy and/or ill they were at the time of death etc. When this transitional process is complete energy is transmuted by the Source and returned to the Universe to be prepared for it's next destination/purpose. There are times where a Medium connects to Universal Consciousness instead of an individual soul. An intuitive can still access reliable and healing information on behalf of a departed soul via Source versus the departed soul specifically.
WILL MY LOVED ONES COME THROUGH?
Though rare, there are times a loved one cannot be reached following departure. It does happen. I always recommend being open to whatever spirit has to relay in any intuitive reading scenario. We all have ancestors and friends that wish to speak TO us or THROUGH us. The saying "energy flows where attention goes," is true. Often what we are seeking, seeks us as well.
Though it's rare that we are unable to reach someone, it is most commonly an issue of timing and/or what some would call reincarnation. We don't pretend to have all of the answers, but there are a variety of scientific factors that amplify the frequency that supports messaging and on that same note there are equally as many things that dilute that frequency as well. Regardless of why, know that the result of transition to the non physical is pure love, return to source and that nothing negative is held onto. Each case is authentically unique. Sessions are routinely filled with 2 or more souls wishing to relay messages. Often we may have as many as 8-10 in an individual session.

WHAT CAN I DO TO INCREASE MY CHANCES OF HEARING FROM MY LOVED ONE?
I have definitively noticed that an object that your loved one held dear, photographs and/or something that holds their energy are all items that can help an intuitive/medium connect more expediently to a specific energy. I liken it to finding someone in a crowd. If we have something that carries their energy it acts as an article of clothing would to a police dog during a missing persons search.
Lastly, talk to them. Do not ask them to be present, TELL THEM to be present. Many of the planes of existence outside of ours require we ASK or COMMAND help in order to obtain it from divine entities. Start talking to your loved one the moment you schedule. Perhaps even take a moment to quiet your thoughts and check in about the date you're about to book. Does it FEEL right? Ask, "Will this appointment date allow for a session of the highest and best healing?" Listen to your inner guidance it will not steer you wrong.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
Again, listen to your heart. I have found a minimum of 3 weeks post departure allows for the most reliable, accurate and beautiful communication.
SHOULD WE BRING ANYTHING WITH US?
Again, if you're hoping to connect with someone specifically, please consider bringing an item/token that would carry a decent amount of their energy (a watch, wedding ring, recipe book, wedding photo or something that speaks to your heart). I would also bring and audio recorder. We do not allow video recording, but most hand held devices such as Android and iPhone do have standard Voice Memo applications. Familiarize yourself with them ahead of time and know that we encourage you to audio record your session.
CAN I BRING MY CAT FOR MORAL SUPPORT?
We understand that everyone needs to feel supported following loss, but we do not allow spectators (of any kind) into an individual session. On average each living person has approximately 5 departed loved ones that wishes to either speak TO them or THROUGH them. This means that the average person has at least 5 ancestors, friends, or friends of family that with to speak TO them or wish that the client relay a message for them. The more people present in a reading, the more energy Mel takes on. There is no such thing as "observing," you are either part of the reading or you're not and for this reason we have a variety of session styles to accommodate everyone. Individual Sessions are "one on one," only.
